I used iHire’s resume distribution service
Written by ihireconstruction on February 19, 2010 – 1:51 pm -Tuesday evening I used iHire’s free resume distribution service. On Thursday I had 6 employeers call and from those 6 phone calls I had scheduled 2 interviews for the next week. On Friday I got 8 more calls, had a phone interview and scheduled another interview for next week. I have been looking for work for over a year and I paid a couple of the resume distrubution services over $100.00 to send out my resume all over the country and did not get even one phone call. I used iHireconstruction.com and after asking them to send out my information at no cost I got over a dozen phone calls and four interviews in the first 72 hours. I highly recommend iHireconstruction. I can only imagine the number of phone calls I would have received if I had used the paid service!!!! Thanks ihire, I have and will recommended ihire to my friends and associates. - Glen Taylor, Apple Valley, CA

Written by admin on December 21, 2009 – 11:52 pm -Everyone knows how difficult it can be to find a job—we all remember how confusing, time consuming, and frustrating it can be. Now imagine how tough it is to find a satisfying job in a normal market—and then think of how difficult it must be to find one in the current recession. For the rising number of people that have to look for a job in this economy, it is becoming more and more important to be able to search for a job quickly and efficiently.
Part of the frustration of the job search is having to look through so many different listings. Newspaper classified ads, employment guides, and Internet job boards are just some of the sources for jobs. Another is that these sources often have geographic limitations, which may or may not be harmful in an age where it is so easy to move or telecommute for a job. Of course there is also a sheer waste of energy and time that goes into looking at so many disparate sources for information on job listings—some of which may not even contain listings in the industry you work in.
This is where IhireConstruction comes in. It is a website that provides information on listings in the construction industry. It is part of a larger network, called the Ihirejobnetwork, which replicates IhireConstruction’s efforts in a number of industries.
